What are the data transmission methods of wireless weather stations?
Wireless weather stations are those that use wireless data transmission, so what are the data transmission methods? Next, Xiaobian will give you a detailed introduction.
(1) GPRS transmission
GPRS is an efficient data transmission method based on packet switching, it is the abbreviation of general packet wireless service in English, and it is also the transition industry of 2G to 3G development. It is a new bearer service developed in GSM system, aiming to provide packet form data service to GSM users. Especially for discontinuous, sudden, frequent and small data transmission, and occasionally large data volume transmission.
The wireless communication mode GPRS has the characteristics of high reliability and coverage light, which is very suitable for data acquisition and transmission in meteorological observation. The wireless remote meteorological data acquisition and transmission system based on GPRS can realize the transplantation of application terminals and acquisition equipment, and also can meet the needs of meteorological data acquisition simultaneity and real-time, and will not affect the accuracy of meteorological data. Because the system only needs to make a simple improvement to the existing automatic weather station equipment in China, the initial investment is small, the effect is fast, and the quality and efficiency of meteorological data transmission can be improved.
(2) ZigBee transmission
ZigBee, as a short-range wireless communication technology, uses 2.4GHz wireless frequency band and uses direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) transmission technology. Each zigbee base station can self-organize and automatically search the shortest path for data transmission. When any base station fails, other base stations will automatically find other nearby base stations to connect. zigbee, however, operates at 2.4GHz and typically has a transmission range of only 50-300 meters. However, if the lower frequency 433MHz band is used, the maximum transmission distance can be up to 6 km.
ZigBee power consumption is very low, can be self-networking, mainly used in industrial control, smart home and other Internet of things fields.
