Real-time monitoring of the meteorological parameters of the tank farm is crucial for evaluating its safety status and preventing accidents caused by meteorological factors. For example, an increase in temperature may accelerate the oxidation and corrosion of the substances in the storage tanks, changes in humidity may affect the viscosity and fluidity of the substances, and strong winds may cause the tank body to shake or affect fire-fighting operations.

 

The FT-FB01 type explosion-proof weather station for tank farms is a meteorological monitoring device specifically designed for flammable and explosive environments such as tank farms, which can effectively meet the above needs.

 

It adopts an integrated structural design, integrating data collection, storage, and communication upload. It is connected to the background host computer management software or the PLC and DCS in the central control room through a wired communication method for data processing and analysis. It is simple to install and disassemble, and does not require professional operation. It can be completed under remote guidance. Moreover, the user does not need to equip spare parts by themselves, and the device can be installed and used immediately upon arrival.

 

Equipped with high-precision sensors, it can monitor key meteorological parameters such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed, and wind direction in real time.

 

The technical parameters are as follows:

Wind speed: The measurement principle is ultrasonic, 0~60m/s (±0.1m/s + 0.01V), and the resolution is 0.01m/s;

Wind direction: The measurement principle is ultrasonic, 0~360° (±2°); the resolution is 1°;

Air temperature: The measurement principle is the diode junction voltage method, -40-80℃ (±0.3℃ (25℃)), and the resolution is 0.01℃;

Air humidity: The measurement principle is capacitive, 0-100%RH (±3%RH (20%~80%)), and the resolution is 0.01%RH;

Atmospheric pressure: The measurement principle is piezoresistive, 300-1100Hpa (±0.25%), and the resolution is 0.1hpa.

 

The device strictly complies with explosion-proof standards and safety specifications, and meets explosion-proof standards and industry safety standards.

The data storage capacity of the stand-alone version is not less than 500,000 pieces. It can also transmit data to the central monitoring system or cloud platform through methods such as 485 connection to DCS transmission, which is convenient for users to save, download, and analyze the measurement results.

The platform can set the upper and lower limits of the parameters. When the monitored data exceeds the set range, the early warning or alarm mechanism will be automatically triggered. Through methods such as screen flashing, sound alarm, or Internet transmission, the alarm information will be quickly sent to the user, enabling the management personnel to promptly detect and deal with potential safety hazards and improving the management efficiency of the tank farm.

It is powered by AC220V, and the power consumption is only 1.75W, effectively reducing the operating cost of the device. At the same time, it has high protection levels such as anti-corrosion, waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof. The sensor housing made of ASA material is corrosion-resistant and anti-oxidant, and is suitable for various harsh environmental conditions in the tank farm.
