3.Working principle of ceilometer
The equipment is based on the principle of laser ranging.The laser transmitter emits periodic laser pulses into the atmosphere.The laser receiver receives the backscattered signals from clouds and the atmosphere.The processor collects and processes the received signals.After inversion calculations, each component is obtained.The extinction coefficient of the height atmosphere is used to determine the cloud layer and calculate the cloud base height value.
