The ultrasonic snow depth detection sensor uses ultrasonic principle to measure snow depth, and measures the change of snowfall by measuring the time difference between ultrasonic pulse emission and return. FT-XL2 Ultrasonic Snow Depth Sensor is a sensor that uses ultrasonic technology for distance detection on snow surfaces. The sensor is designed with an integrated capacitive electrostatic transducer probe, which has high sensitivity, strong anti-interference ability and high precision.

4. Use of Ultrasonic Snow Depth Detection Sensor Products

The installation location of the equipment should be open

The equipment installation cross arm should be guaranteed to be at least 1M

There should be no obstructions above the device

The distance between the equipment and the ground plane should be within 20cm-200cm. To ensure measurement accuracy, the recommended distance is 100cm.

The equipment installation bracket should be kept level. It is best to make the reflective ground of the sensor horizontal. The reflection point should be within a radius of 1 meter to avoid interference from weeds.
