The radar water level, velocity and flow sensor developed by our company uses a K-band planar microstrip array antenna, which has concentrated energy and low power consumption; the instrument integrates functions such as vertical angle compensation, flow velocity average, signal strength detection, serial communication control, etc., non-contact radar When measuring the velocity of the flow measurement system, the equipment is not corroded by sewage or affected by sediment. The civil construction is simple and less affected by water damage. It is easy to maintain and ensures the safety of personnel. Not only can it be used for daily environmental monitoring, but it is also particularly suitable for undertaking urgent, difficult and dangerous observation tasks.

On-site installation can rely on existing building foundations such as bridges and brackets, but it must be ensured that the radar wave emission direction of the current meter is parallel to the direction of the water flow. The emission wave of the current meter is at an angle of 45° to the water surface. The factory default adjustment is 45°.


6. Precautions for installation of radar water level, velocity and flow sensors

1. The installation needs to choose a stable flow state, on a straight channel, away from the gate outlet, and at the elbow of the channel.

2. Try to control the installation height within 5 meters (the closer the distance, the stronger the measurement signal and the more reliable the data)

3. The water flow rate is lower than 0.25 and the water ripple is small, making the measurement unstable.
