Outdoor meteorological monitoring system is a combination of equipment, can automatically monitor the environment of temperature, humidity, light intensity, rainfall, soil temperature, wind direction, wind speed, atmospheric pressure and other meteorological data, can be widely used in agriculture, horticulture, planting industry, urban environment and other fields.

The system is mainly composed of hardware + software, hardware is:

Weather sensor: This is the core part of the system, which can sense and measure different meteorological elements. For example, wind speed and direction sensors can measure wind speed and direction data, temperature and humidity sensors can measure air temperature and humidity, rainfall sensors can measure rainfall and so on.

Data collector: This is the data processing center of the system. Data collected by weather sensors is processed, converted and stored here. The data collector is also responsible for sending the processed data to the cloud platform or computer through the communication module.

Communication module: It is responsible for the transmission of meteorological data from the data collector to the cloud platform or computer. Common communication methods include RS485, GPRS/4G, Ethernet and so on.

Protective box: This is a protective shell, used to protect the internal equipment and lines from the adverse outdoor environment, with waterproof and dustproof functions.

Power system: Provides power to the entire system. Some devices may also require an uninterrupted power supply to ensure the stable operation of the system.

Brackets and mounting accessories: Used to install weather sensors and other equipment in suitable locations outdoors to facilitate data collection and transmission.

Software is the cloud platform or PC, mobile phone software, which is the data storage and analysis part of the system. The collected meteorological data is analyzed and processed here, and then stored in a database. Through cloud platforms or software, this data can be viewed and analyzed at any time to understand weather conditions.
