The negative ion concentration detector can accurately detect the negative ion concentration in the environment, and the measurement principle used by it is different from other types of instruments. The existing negative ion concentration detector can be divided into two measuring principles according to the type of collection plate, and their characteristics and application fields are different. The detection principle of the negative ion concentration detector is introduced as follows.

1. Parallel electric plate negative ion concentration detector

The negative ion concentration detector using the principle of parallel plate detection is usually cheaper, there is a set of parallel and mutually insulated electrodes, working can be inhaled by the lower right fan air, then inhaled the air in the instrument negative ions will strike the electrode discharge reaction to form a discharge signal, and then recorded, so that you can accurately measure the content and size of positive and negative ions in the air.

The existing parallel electroplate testing principle technology is relatively mature, and the cost is relatively low. But the measurement results are greatly disturbed by the external environment.

2. Double cylinder shaft negative ion concentration detector

The test principle is also one of the more mature test principles at present, which mainly includes three concentric cylinders, an outer cylinder body and an inner shaft. During the flow of air in the cylinder, there is a discharge reaction after the collision of negative ions and the cylinder body, at which time the instrument automatically records the discharge signal, so that the number and size of positive and negative ions in the air can be accurately measured.

Although this test principle has been quite mature, but its internal structure is complex, so the cost is high. The double cylinder shaft negative ion concentration detector can effectively solve the electrolytic edge effect that is easy to occur in other types of measurement principles, and the structure of the cylinder itself and the special air intake mode can maintain the flow of air through, and can more accurately measure the number and size of negative ions.
