Airflow Instruments Capture Hood makes volumetric flow measurement for larger air intakes and outlets quite easy, weighing just 2.9kg.Airflow Instruments Capture Hood is suitable for fast and accurate measurement of large air inlets/returns to meet regulatory system requirements and ensure indoor air quality. Provide reliable support for air conditioning and heating system measurements in hospitals, office buildings or commercial buildings.
The built-in airflow rectifier allows accurate measurement of the vortex outlet even at the vortex outlet. Frequent air volume measurements are required. Due to the influence of turbulence at the air outlet, wind speed is often not accurately measured.
Airflow Instruments Capture Hood effectively reduces measurement errors. The built-in air flow rectifier can effectively reduce eddy currents and uniform air flow, thereby achieving accurate measurement of air volume between 80 and 3,500 m3/h.

Standard hood size is 610x610mm. We offer additional Airflow Instruments Capture Hood options in other sizes for additional ceiling outlet measurements. The optional tripod is a great help for inlet and return measurements at height. The tripod can be extended up to 4m.
Fixed tie rods make the Airflow Instruments Capture Hood quick and easy to assemble. The factory-standard transport trolley case ensures safe transportation.
Create measurement reports online and have them sent to your mailbox using the app. Download the free app for even more advantageous features. Through the application and Bluetooth function, smartphones and tablets can be used as second displays and controlled remotely. Especially useful when using a tripod to measure high on ceilings.
When measuring the air conditioning and heating ventilation system, you can start/end the measurement program through the App, save the measurement results in .txt format, and create a measurement report online. The Airflow Instruments Capture Hood, suitable for air conditioning and HVAC system measurements, is equipped with a display to display measurement results. The adjustable display allows customers to read measurements from different angles.
It can complete wind speed, air volume, absolute pressure, temperature and relative humidity measurement tasks. The auto-zero function ensures accurate measurement under low pressure.
Backlit display, all measurement values can be read on one screen. Through the application, the functions of saving measurement values and creating measurement reports online are realized, and measurement values can be analyzed and managed. Data management can also be performed on a computer without additional operating software.
Airflow Instruments Capture Hood integrates different measuring instruments and is not limited to ceiling air outlet air volume measurement. Removing the wind hood can also be used to measure pressure, wind speed and air volume in the pipeline. Save costs, no need to purchase other instruments.
When measuring pipelines, just connect the optional pitot tube and connecting hose. The time average/multi-point average calculation function and the input pipeline geometry can be used together to help complete pipeline measurements with twice the result with half the effort.
