1.Rapid automatic testing
The automatic test function of 6422 eliminates the need for users to know more details about the operation of the instrument.The test steps become very simple.They only need to connect the optical fiber to the corresponding OTDR port of the product and click the [Test] button.The instrument will automatically set the corresponding settings.test conditions and give the final test results, including test curves and event lists.
2.Unique PON network test function
6422 is a test instrument for optical fiber access network and FTTx.It has built-in PON network test function and can test each branch of the PON network through up to 1:128 optical splitter.
3.Automatic light monitoring and alarm function
When an OTDR tests an optical fiber link, if there is a communication optical signal in the optical fiber, the test results will be inaccurate and even cause irreparable damage to the detector inside the instrument.6422 has the function of automatically monitoring the communication optical signals in the optical fiber under test.As long as the optical fiber under test is connected to the optical interface of the 6422, it will automatically sense and monitor whether there are communication optical signals in the optical fiber during the test phase.Once an optical signal is detected, it will Prompt alarm information in time to provide timely protection for the instrument.
