The FT-WFB5 Industrial Meteorological Sensor is a highly integrated weather monitoring device specifically designed for flammable and explosive hazardous environments. It integrates the measurement functions of five meteorological parameters—wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure—into a compact structure. It enables 24-hour continuous online monitoring of outdoor meteorological parameters and outputs all parameters simultaneously through a digital communication interface.

The core technical feature of this device lies in its ultrasonic measurement principle. It detects wind speed and direction by emitting continuous frequency-modulated ultrasonic signals and measuring relative phases. This design without moving parts achieves real-time measurement with zero wear and no starting wind speed limit, fundamentally eliminating the spark risk that might be generated by mechanical friction. The hidden ultrasonic probe design in the top cover can effectively avoid measurement interference caused by rain and snow accumulation and natural wind obstruction.

In terms of explosion-proof safety, the equipment manufacturer holds an Ex ia IIC T6 Ga high-level explosion-proof certificate, ensuring that the instrument can operate safely in explosive gas environments with the highest standards. Its structural design follows intrinsic safety explosion-proof requirements, limiting circuit energy to ensure that it will not ignite surrounding explosives under any fault conditions.
