The "School weather station" project

The "School weather station" project is a comprehensive hands-on platform for students to gain a deeper understanding of how information systems work and how they can be applied through hands-on experience. In this project, students use a weather meter to automate weather monitoring, which not only allows them to understand the role of sensors and control systems in information collection and response, but also to learn how to transmit collected weather data to a server by setting up a small wireless network. Students will also experience the importance of these devices in information acquisition and processing by remotely monitoring weather information on mobile devices and computers through IoT services.

The entire development process of the project has given students a comprehensive understanding of the components and functions of an information system, especially the key role that software plays in it.
