Lightning strikes are natural disasters that threaten human society, especially for scenic spots. In recent years, lightning accidents in scenic spots have triggered the demand for lightning warning in scenic spots.
In August 2022, a lightning accident occurred in Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic spot in Lijiang, Yunnan Province. A couple was struck by lightning while taking wedding photos on the mountain, resulting in one death.

In August 2013, a lightning strike occurred in Huangshan scenic area, resulting in 3 injuries and 1 death;
In November 2011, a lightning strike in Jinding, a scenic spot in Fanjing Mountain, Guizhou Province, injured more than 30 people, 18 of them seriously.

These shocking lightning accidents occurred in the scenic area, which brought alarm to the scenic area management department. Lightning accidents in scenic spots seriously threaten the lives and property safety of tourists, so lightning protection in scenic spots must be paid attention to and should not be careless. So how do scenic spots protect against lightning?
First, as far as possible to fully cover the installation of lightning protection devices, regular maintenance, rectification of unqualified lightning protection devices;
Second, pay close attention to the lightning warning issued by the weather forecast, strengthen the construction of lightning early warning system, and timely release lightning early warning information in the scenic area;
