Portable Flow Meter product introduction:
Portable Flow Meter is a professional flow meter designed to measure the flow velocity of streams and rivers. It is used for emergency flow velocity measurement.The LS300-B Portable Flow Meter (portable flow meter for short) is specially developed for open channel flow velocity and flow measurements in the field by hydrological stations, factories and mines, environmental monitoring stations, farmland drainage and irrigation, hydrogeological surveys and other departments.
The LS300-B Portable Flow Meter can be used with a flow rate sensor. The propeller helix angle, pitch, manufacturing process and materials of this sensor have been redesigned. Measure parameters such as open channel flow rate and flow rate.

Portable Flow Meter measurement principle:
Flow velocity measurement: The flow velocity meter is driven by water, and its built-in signaling device generates a revolution signal. Therefore, the flow rate can be calculated by the following formula based on the total number of signals generated by the flow meter within a certain unit period: v=a+b*R/T (m/s) (automatic calculation)
v - average flow velocity during the flow measurement period (m/s)
b - propeller (or cup) hydraulic pitch (m)
aVelometer constant (m/s)
T - measured flow duration (s)
The total number of revolutions of the flow meter rotor during the R-T period
For an individual flow meter, b and a are constant values. Therefore, when measuring flow, as long as the T and R values are measured, the flow rate can be calculated.
Flow measurement: Enter the type of section to be measured, and manually input (or measure through auxiliary sensors) the water level and width of the regular section to calculate the section area. The instrument has Q=V*S to measure the flow rate Q value.
