Seepage Monitoring

Seepage Monitoring, which is composed of field detection equipment and remote monitoring equipment, is used to monitor seepage data in areas such as DAMS and slopes of reservoirs.Seepage Monitoring is mainly composed of on-site detection equipment, remote monitoring equipment and other parts.

On-site testing equipment: It consists of a water measuring weir meter, a triangular weir, etc. It is responsible for measuring the reservoir seepage flow data and conducting flow monitoring on the reservoir site.

Remote monitoring equipment: remote monitoring terminal, responsible for collecting data information detected by on-site detection equipment, and transmitting on-site information to the monitoring center through wireless transmission.

Introduction to Seepage Monitoring

The water weir meter uses a magnetostrictive sensor for liquid level measurement, which has the characteristics of high resolution, good stability, reliable performance, fast response, linear measurement, never wear, and long working life. The water measuring weir meter measures the water head on the weir, and then calculates the flow rate based on the empirical formula of the weir groove (triangular weir, trapezoidal weir, rectangular weir, etc.).

Seepage Monitoring structure and principle

The water measuring weir meter consists of a magnetic rod, a floating ball, a measuring circuit and a stainless steel casing. When the water level in the weir and tank changes, it will drive the float to produce a liquid level difference. The host computer subtracts the calibrated base value from the current liquid level to obtain the actual water level on the weir, and then calculates the flow rate based on the type of weir and tank.
